The Yamaha R1 winglet is designed to enhance handling and stability at high speeds. Manufactured using SLS 3D printing technology, it ensures a lightweight yet high-strength structure capable of withstanding track conditions. Engineered from the ground up, the winglet optimizes airflow around the bike and the air intake, improving aerodynamic efficiency. At 200 km/h, it produces 13 kg of downforce while generating only 3 kg of drag, providing noticeable improvements in high-speed stability, cornering precision, and overall riding performance. Its streamlined design minimizes turbulence, allowing the bike to maintain optimal balance and responsiveness even under aggressive track conditions.
